Classroom Support

Classroom Technology Support (CTS) is committed to fostering the higher educational experience through the intelligent design, sustainability, and evolution of classrooms and computing labs. This commitment stretches beyond technology to help bridge the gap between educators and students by bringing together the elements of exceptional customer service, carefully orchestrated partnerships, and strategic initiatives.

As a dedicated and cohesive team working to provide classroom multimedia support and computing services to the CSU academic community, CTS strives to assist its clients in a responsive and effective manner. Classroom Technology Support also offers a variety of tools and services to help faculty, students, and staff integrate technology into the educational process.

Definition of Classroom Types

  • Basic Mediation - classroom is equipped with a laptop connection, video projector, overhead projector, screen, DVD player, slide projector (in some rooms), and audio system.
  • Instructor Mediation - classroom is equipped with an instructor computer workstation, video projector, overhead projector, screen, DVD player, and audio system.
  • Student Mediation - classroom is equipped with an instructor computer workstation, student computer workstations, video projector, overhead projector, screen, DVD player, slide projector (in some rooms), and audio system.

Note: Some rooms have more specialized equipment than others.
