A UGA education. Closer than you think.
Students who want the quality and value of a University of Georgia education can pursue a variety of undergraduate or graduate degrees at UGA’s Griffin Campus.
The undergraduate programs, first offered in Griffin in 2005, are degree-completion programs for transfer students or those seeking a second bachelor’s degree. Eight undergraduate majors are now offered, plus graduate programs in agricultural leadership, mathematics education and workforce education.
UGA Griffin Campus, located 40 miles south of Atlanta, was established as the Georgia Experiment Station in 1888. A new student learning center opened in August 2009 and classes are held in the building. See The Griffin Campus for photos from the dedication ceremony.
