Jeff Genthner is the senior vice president and general manager of Atlanta-based FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Carolinas, FOX Sports Tennessee and SportSouth. A 28-year industry veteran, Genthner played a pivotal role in developing FOX Sports South into the nation's largest regional sports network, reaching more than 12 million cable and satellite homes across seven states in the Southeast. In 2008, he oversaw an extensive rebranding effort, which divided FOX Sports South into three networks — FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Carolinas and FOX Sports Tennessee — serving 6.6 million, four million and 1.8 million households, respectively. SportSouth (formerly Turner South) reaches more than nine million cable and satellite homes across a six-state region. Under Genthner's leadership, FOX Sports South and SportSouth have earned 14 Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Southeast Chapter in the past two years.
