Eligibility
Application Deadline Has Passed Applications are accepted annually between December 1 and January 31.
To apply for admission to ILA undergraduate programs, a student must:
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2
- Have class standing as a rising junior
- For CPOL, any major qualifies
- For LLSP, be admissible to the Terry College by the fall semester following selection
Selection Process
The selection process involves evaluation of online applications by faculty, staff, and alumni:
- One round for CPOL (online app) and
- Two rounds for LLSP (online app and interview for finalists).
We typically select 30 new students each year for the LLSP and approximately 60 for the CPOL. Announcements of acceptance for either program are usually made over spring break.
- Academic accomplishments
- Demonstrated leadership experience (since high school)
- Willingness to engage in a challenging process of self-discovery and development of leadership capability in the servant-leader mold
Applications are available online each year from December 1 to January 31.
