Small hr, an easy to use demographic and mapping database, contains U.S. Census of population data from 1790 to present. The site's online tools help you visually analyze and understand the demography of the United States through the use of interactive maps and data reports. Browse and download thousands of census data tables going back to the first U.S. Census, and explore thousands of interactive historical data maps.
Developed in 1996 as GALILEO's first digital conversion initiative and redesigned in 2009, the Georgia Government Publications database serves as a digital repository of publications produced by Georgia state agencies. The GGP provides a comprehensive archive of state publications 1994 to the present, and project participants are actively scanning documents printed before 1994 to provide researchers with a valuable source for online historical research.
Thanks to collaboration between the Digital Library of Georgia and the University of Georgia's Selig Center for Economic Growth, over a half-century of extensive statistical data have been added to the Georgia Government Publications database. The Georgia Statistical Abstract (1951-2007) contains many statistical tables of data collected from Georgia state agencies.

The Atlanta Historic Newspapers Archive provides free online access to more than a dozen newspaper titles and more than 67,000 newspaper pages published in Atlanta from 1847 to 1922. It is a project of the Digital Library of Georgia developed with funds from the federal government.
is a subset of local U.S. newspapers within the larger LexisNexis Academic database of news, legal and business information. Recent news from more than 250 small-town and rural papers is covered in full text. To see a list of newspapers included in the collection, go to Discover America's Story and click the small blue "i" information icon next to "Discover America's Story" in the search form.
