Attention Students! If you have received a notification letter from Direct Loans, this is simply a letter to inform you that you are eligible to receive a loan if you wish. Unless you accept the loan, complete entrance counseling, and a master promissory note, the loan will not pay out.  The personal information included on the letter comes from the FAFSA you filled out as Direct Loans is a Federal agency and therefore has access to that information.
