What is It?
Political Science is a versatile major; a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science can lead into many interesting and fulfilling careers. Former Darton students have become assistant city managers, military officers, government administrators, teachers, and professors. A Political Science degree can also provide a useful foundation for community service and non-profit work.
Darton political science graduates have transferred to a number of 4-year universities in Georgia and throughout the country. After receiving their Bachelor’s Degrees, many have continued on to law school or related M.A. programs

Careers in Political Science: According to a Summer 2005 study of the National Association of Colleges and Employers, the average starting salary for someone with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science is $33,520.
