The Associate Degree Program in Dental Hygiene is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation and the United States Department of Education.

Upon successful completion of the five-semester program (including one summer of study), students will be eligible to take the national written examination, and a state or regional clinical examination. Upon passing these examinations graduates will then be qualified for employment in private dental offices, hospitals, military dental clinics, local or state health departments, or may transfer the A.S. in Dental Hygiene toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene.
