http://www.colstate.edu/It is important to avoid directly copying text from Microsoft Word to Microsoft FrontPage. Copying text from MS Word directly into an HTML editor, such as MS FrontPage, creates unique and undesirable tags. These tags make editing your Web page content extremely difficult. There are a few extra steps you can take to correctly copy text from Word into FrontPage.
Please use the following steps to transfer text from Word into FrontPage:
Select the text in Word that you want to copy.
Click Edit > Copy (Ctrl+C)
Open Notepad.
Click Start
Click All Programs > Accessories > Notepad
In Notepad, click Edit > Paste (Ctrl+V)
In Notepad, click Edit > Select All (Ctrl+A)
In Notepad, click Edit > Copy (Ctrl+C)
In FrontPage, click Edit > Paste (Ctrl+V)
Apply text styles using Cascading Style Sheets ( Appendix H).
