Development Committee

The QEP Development Committee is comprised of over seventy seven faculty members, administrators, staff, and students from throughout KSU.  This group will work together to craft the proposal that will be submitted to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) as part of KSU's reaffirmation of accreditation in 2018-2019.

Full QEP Development Committee List

The committee’s work will be accomplished in seven sub-committees: Concept; Literature Review and Best Practices; Capability; Marketing and Outreach; Assessment; Writing; and Advisory.  Each sub-committee will focus on a different aspect of the overall plan and, in many cases, may work in coordination with other teams.

  • The Concept team will focus on the curricular, co-curricular, faculty development, and department badging aspects of the proposal.  This team will develop an inventory of KSU’s high-impact educational practices (HIPs), a plan for development of new HIP activities, a student engagement plan, a faculty engagement and training plan, and system recommendations.
