Twenty-five highly qualified high school seniors and their parents will visit the University of Georgia for an English/Spanish bilingual educational forum specially designed to welcome and encourage potential UGA applicants. Current Latino UGA students, parents, faculty, and alumni will be on hand to welcome the visitors and to share their experiences. English/Spanish interpreters will be available throughout the program.

Call for Applications for 2008-09 OSL Senior Scholars Leadership Program

The Office of Service-Learning (OSL) is seeking candidates to serve as 2008-09 OSL Senior Scholars, a faculty leadership program designed to support the rapid expansion of service-learning activities at UGA. 2008 Summer Academy at UGA Youth Camps accepting registration applications

The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education Conference Center and Hotel is currently accepting registration applications for the 2008 Summer Academy at UGA. SAUGA is a popular series of summer day camps designed to keep the minds and bodies of 10- to 17-year-olds active during summer break. Camps begin the week of June 2 and are held at the Georgia Center.

Coastlines 2008 Workshop

Join marine educators and researchers for Coastlines 2008: Current Topics in Ocean Health and Fisheries, a 14-day intensive field and laboratory experience that will prepare teachers for identifying coastal land use, water quality, and fishery issues to create GPS-relevant curriculum for their own schools and communities. The workshop will be held June 13-26, 2008, at the Marine Extension Service's Marine Education Center and Aquarium on Skidaway Island.
