THE 2011 FAIR:

September 27th & September 28th, 2011
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Fair registration has been extended to August 19th!
• The 27th Annual UGA Study, Work, and Travel Abroad Fair will be held in the Tate Grand Hall on the fifth floor of the Tate Student Center on Tuesday, September 27th and Wednesday, September 28th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
• All exhibitors and programs may register for either one or two six foot tables. UGA programs are offered one day at a special fee of which could be deducted fromt the second day full fee. See TABLE FEE .
• All registrations will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
• We are unable to engage in any promises regarding location, proximity to other programs, wall space or electrical outlets.
• Program registration/exhibition is subject to approval by the University of Georgia's Office of International Education.
  
  

REGISTRATION DETAILS:

• Exhibitor registration begins June 1st! Registration will be accepted until capacity is reached or the registration deadline, August 19th.
• All exhibitors must register online!
• All external exhibitors (non-UGA) must submit the REGISTRATION FEE by check only . Make checks payable to "UGA." UGA programs can pay through  the electronic ticket system once you have received the invoice and invoice number.
• External providers will be provided with a parking voucher for the Tate Student Center Parking Deck.
• Lunch will be provided for exhibitors.
• Registration deadline for ALL exhibitors is August 19th. Payments must be postmarked by the registration deadline.
  
• Payment will be accepted beginning July 1st, 2011 for both external programs and UGA programs. If payment is received prior to this date, it will not be processed and returned promptly. The DEADLINE for submission of all payments must be postmarked by August 19th, 2011.
• Late Registration: UGA programs or external providers that do not register by the August 19th, 2011 deadline will be assessed a $25 late registration
  fee.
• Cancellations: UGA programs or external providers that register for a table but need to cancel due to unforseen circumstances, must do so by September 9th, 2011 to receive a full refund. Other cancellations will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
• No Show Fee: UGA programs or external providers that register for a table but do not show for their designated fair day(s), will be assessed a $25 no show fee.
• Sending Fair Material: The Office of International Education is moving at the end of June. Due to the move, we will be accepting fair materials (and payments) beginning July 1st. Please mark materials clearly for the Study    Abroad Fair with 'Tuesday' or 'Wednesday'; unmarked material will not be delivered to the fair site.

WHY PARTICIPATE IN THE UGA FAIR?

• Number of countries in which UGA students study:
  UGA programs operate in approximately 50 countries annually. Counting participants in external programs, UGA students study in 65 to 70different countries each year.
• Number of UGA students studying abroad annually:
  Currently, just over 2,000 students or 6% of the entire campus enrollment (graduate and undergraduate) study abroad in a given year, and 75% of those chose either a UGA program or a UGA exchange partner.
• Study abroad by graduating class:
  Almost 30% of each graduating cohort studies abroad for academic credit at some point during college.
• Non-UGA students on UGA Study Abroad:
  Between150-200 students from other universities transient enroll on UGA study abroad programs each year, forming 12% of the enrollment in UGA faculty-led programs and testifying to UGA's reputation for providing high quality international academic experiences.
  
  

OPTIMIZE YOUR PRESENCE:

• The REGISTRATION FEE includes CAMPUS WIDE ADVERTISING of the FAIR. This includes: 500 POSTERS, BUS CARDS, BANNERS, 14000 INSERTS IN THE STUDENT PAPER, ELECTRONIC MARQEE MESSAGES, FLYERS, AND CAMPUS PRESENCE.
