Advising Appointments
The MBA Career Management Center is well-versed in career advising and best practices in the MBA marketplace. As part of the course, all students have career development advising appointments to explore their visions and goals, craft targeted resumes that market them in the best light, and conduct videotaped mock interviews.
We pride ourselves on working closely with students to help them identify and take the actions most helpful in moving their job search forward. In addition to the vision, resume, and interviewing appointments, students may use career development advising appointments to:
- Discuss job search strategy and networking
- Develop elevator pitches
- Identify job leads
- Determine how best to market themselves
- Manage the interview process
- Evaluate and negotiate offers, or
- Determine how to navigate questions that may come up with their future employers
