Email Reference
The Email Reference Service is committed to providing its Darton Students, Faculty and Staff with answers to their brief, factual questions.
Email Reference can help you:
- verify the Library's holdings
- lookup certain basic, factual information as staffing is available (this service is mainly for Darton Distance Learners who do not attend any on-campus courses and who reside outside the Darton College service area)
- Assist Darton Distance Learners in conducting research projects
For help with more complex questions, please contact the Reference Desk. Darton Faculty and departmental Staff also have the option of scheduling orientation sessions for help with major projects or in-depth research. For our other patrons, we suggest contacting your local school or public library.
Email Reference cannot provide:
- antique, art, book, or map appraisals
- medical advice
- legal advice
- tax assistance
Please send us your question, describing it as fully as possible in order for us to best assist you. We will try to answer your question within the next two to four business days. If your browser does not support forms, you may email us directly at research@darton.edu.
