The Math Lab provides support for any math class on campus, from the earliest developmental class up through calculus. The highly skilled staff consists of a director, two assistant directors, and several student workers.

Support is provided in a number of ways. Students can receive one-on-one tutoring from any staff member. In addition to individualized assistance, different technologies are available. Students have the choice of working on a computer with different software packages, or they can watch a video, many of which were made by their own teachers. Students also have the opportunity to review sample final exams and to practice for the Exit Exam (COMPASS) when the nerve-wrenching end of the semester comes around.

The Math Lab also works closely with the Learning Support math faculty. The lab provides periodic reports on students' progress, offers instruction in the use of computers, orders materials for both lab and classroom use, and provides instructors with an opportunity to preview software and other materials for purchase.
