Extramural Program
The Darton College Intramural program occasionally offers recreational sporting opportunities for students on the state, regional, and national levels. Extramural events offer individuals and teams the chance to compete against teams and individuals from other colleges around the country.
SWGA Dodgeball Tourny Champs On June 19, 2010, Darton College hosted the 2nd Annual Southwest Georgia Corporate Dodgeball Tournament benefiting youth programs of the Chehaw Council, Boy Scouts of America in Cavalier Arena. The field consisted of twelve teams from the Albany, Southwest Georgia area. Teams competed for a grand prize of $1000 cash. Two of those teams made it to the championship match. The Darton College Student team, who won the Spring 2010 DC IM Dodgeball regular season and campus championship tournament, and the Darton College Faculty and Staff Team. Both teams went undefeated through the round robin section of the tournament and received number one seeds in their respected brackets. The championship round consisted of all teams competing in a single elimination bracket. In the end the Darton College Students came out on top with a victory over the Faculty Staff team 2-1 in the championship match.

2006 ACUI - Regional Table Tennis Runner up and national contender

Augusto Bertone placed second in the 2006 ACUI regional table tennis tournament in Atlanta, GA. The tournament was held at the Georgia Tech campus on February 17th and 18th and played host to some of the best table tennis players in the southeast. Augusto was among the top four who progressed to the 2006 ACUI national tournament in Fort Worth, TX on April 7th and 8th of 2006. Augusto placed in the top 8 at the national tournament and gained great respect within the collegiate table tennis community.
