B-Term Physical Education Classes Offer Fun and Excitement
Would you and your friends enjoy skiing down the slopes? Are you interested in learning more about fly fishing? You can do this and much more by taking B-Term PE classes at Darton.
B-Term classes are accelerated classes that last eight weeks, starting Oct. 13 and ending Dec. 7. This eight-week fall term offers several exciting PE classes, including CPR, snow skiing, self defense, survival skills, walking, beginning paddling, intro to fly fishing, and hunter safety.
Darton Foundation Selling Chances for Diamond Ring
The Darton College Foundation is selling chances to win a diamond ring.
The Foundation is selling chances at $50 per ticket for a three-stone 1.67 carat diamond ring valued at $2,600. Only 100 chances will be sold. The drawing will be held September 9th at 4 pm at the Bookstore ground breaking, with proceeds going toward student scholarships.
The ring was donated by Leesburg Pawnbrokers, North Slappey Pawn, and Dawson Road Pawn Shop.

Cavalier Athletics Recognized as Best in Georgia
The Darton College Athletic Department was once again recognized as the top athletic program in the GJCAA for the 2007-2008 school year after an outstanding effort last season from its athletic teams. DC originally received the GJCAA Trophy Cup following the 2005-2006 year.

Journalism Department at Darton College Sees Changes
A New Look For Darton's Journalism Program
The Darton College Journalism Department will take on a new look for the 2008-09 year.
The new look includes a new instructor for journalism classes and an association between the Journalism Department and The Cavalier Attitude, Darton's student newspaper.
