Typical military, non-traditional or transfer admission

For non-traditional students Chin-up

A non-traditional student has not attended high school or college in the past five years and, if transferring previous college credit, has fewer than 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours).

Requirements:

A high school diploma from an accredited high school or a GED
COMPASS test scores in areas required by Admissions Office
Application plus $30 non-refundable application fee (waived for active duty military if applying with paper application and a copy of military ID is attached)
Certificate of immunization
Official high school transcripts
Official transcripts from all colleges or universities previously attended
Official GED transcripts with test scores (if applicable)

For transfer students

A transfer student is someone who has earned 30 or more semester hours of transferable credit (45 quarter hours) from previously attended colleges or universities. As a transfer student, you must be eligible to return to the institution you last attended.

Requirements:

Minimum transfer GPA of 2.0
Application plus $30 non-refundable application fee (waived for active duty military if applying with paper application and a copy of military ID is attached)
Certificate of immunization
Official transcripts from all institutions previously attended

As active duty military or dependent, you will be eligible to receive a Military Fee Waiver. The Military Fee Waiver waives the out-of-state portion of tuition for active duty military personnel station in Georgia and their dependents (form/copy of military I.D.).
