World at Reach program

world at reach
The World at Reach Program places international students in classrooms at Columbus State University, or schools within the Columbus community to make speeches or presentations about a topic relevant to the student’s international experience. Topics that an international student might discuss will vary depending upon what the professor or teacher hopes to gain from the student’s visit. Some examples of topics that students might be requested to talk about would include information about a student’s home country, culture, faith, etc. These visits can also be an open forum for discussion between the international student and American students. This program is a great way for international students to make connections with American students on campus and in the Columbus community, and share their unique experiences and perspectives. If you are interested in having an international student come to your class, please download the form below and email it to johnson_adam9@colstate.edu or fax to 706-565-4039. Or, you may also drop the form off at the International House located on the corner of University Ave and Clearview Circle.
