The free event featured speakers who have applied their doctoral degrees in science and engineering towards careers outside of the university setting. Read More.

The Atlanta chapter of the ARCS® Foundation, Inc. recently awarded $70,000 to nine outstanding doctoral students in biomedical and health sciences at the University of Georgia, one of whom received a special $10,000 grant for global health research abroad. The presentations were made at an awards ceremony held in Atlanta. Read More.

The travel award winners of the first Wildlife Disease Student Research Symposium, hosted by the UGAscWDA and BHSI, have been announced. These three students will each receive a $500 travel stipend and present their research in an oral presentation at the symposium on Wednesday, November 30th at 11AM at the Paul D. Coverdell Center.
