CSU Ballet Conservatory - What to wear

Girls: Standard uniform-black leotard, pink tights and pink shoes. Hair should be in a bun for ballet and neatly secured. No large jewelry should be worn to class. Level 4 and 5 may wear short dance skirts. Level 5 & 6 may wear any solid colored leotard. No dancer should purchase pointe shoes unless approved by your primary instructor. Outside of class, street clothes or appropriate cover-up should be worn. Please do not leave the building wearing just your dance attire.

Boys: White T-shirt and black biker shorts or tights with white socks and black ballet shoes.

Shoes: No street shoes should be worn in the dance studio and ballet shoes should not be worn outside of the dance studio. No food or gum is allowed in the dance studio.

Adults: May wear regular ballet attire or comfortable clothing, sweat pants and t-shirt. Soft ballet shoes are required.

Adult Jazz: Black leotard and tan jazz slip on shoes/boots and possibly black jazz pants or shorts or thick skirt. Ballet slippers may be worn at first if necessary.
