Bettandorff earns leadership award
Ruth Bettandorff, assistant vice president for academic affairs and director of UGA's Gwinnett Campus, was awarded the 2011 Continuing Education Leadership Award from the Association for Continuing Higher Education, South Region.
Raetz wins outstanding service award
Teresa Raetz, director of student affairs for extended campuses, has received the 2011 Lehker Outstanding Service to the Profession award from the Commission for Graduate and Professional Studies, a division of the American College Professional Association (ACPA). The award recognizes an individual's graduate student affairs efforts through involvement as an association member. Raetz and other award winners will be honored during the annual ACPA convention in March.
UGA & Georgia Tech sign agreement
Advanced Technology Development Center, based at Georgia Tech, extends its reach into Gwinnett with the establishment of a new facility at UGA's Gwinnett Campus. Read more on the News page under Media Coverage.

UGA's College of Education is again ranked among the best in the U.S. for its graduate degree offerings. The college, which offers graduate programs at the Gwinnett campus, scored well in the latest rankings by U.S. News & World Report.
