Kennesaw State holds several donor events throughout the year in recognition and appreciation of the many supporters of the university.

President's Circle Reception President's Circle Reception

The 2014 President's Circle Reception was hosted at Kennesaw State's new Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art on February 28, providing guests an exclusive preview of the museum before its March 1 opening.  Guests had the opportunity to enjoy the exhibits as well as music performances by a jazz trio of KSU students.  President Papp delivered a brief program to thank the guests and announce the winners of the 2014 President's Award, Tom and Barbara Hughes.

Founders Week President's Reception Founders Week President's Reception

President Papp hosted the President’s Reception at the Jolley Lodge to celebrate Kennesaw State’s incredible milestone week in honor of Founders Day on October 9th.  Guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and music provided by KSU music student Soyoun Sheehan.  Afterwards, guests headed over the Bailey Performance Center for a special performance of the Kennesaw State University Symphony Orchestra.

The Annual Scholarship Reception received a new look in 2013, shifting from a seated luncheon to a reception style and allowing donors and students to mingle.  2013-14 scholarship recipients had the opportunitiy to meet their benefactors at the KSU Center, with music performances by several scholarship reciepients from the College of the Arts.  Speakers included President Papp as well as Clendenin Graduate Fellow Roberta Jackson, who shared her experience and the opportunities the Clendenin Fellowship Program has provided her.  The event also featured a video booth for students and donors to share their scholarship stories.

A Tribute to Chet and Hazel Austin

A Tribute to Chet and Hazel Austin On October 11, 2013, Kennesaw State celebrated the contributions that Chet and Hazel Austin have made to KSU and the community.  A longtime trustee and supporter of KSU, Chet has established scholarship and leadship programs at KSU, most notably through the College of Continuing and Professional Education and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institutde.  The evening included a reception and dinner, music performed by KSU students, presentations by numerous community leaders as well as President Papp, and a video highlighting interviews with individuals closely connected to the Austins and their work.
