CETL OCD

The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning's (CETL) Online Course Development workshop is one possible pathway for faculty to earn online teaching certification. The purpose of the OCD workshop is to explore the basics of online pedagogy, effective practices for online course design and delivery, and introduce the Quality Matters (QM) Rubric for Online and Hybrid Courses, which provides a framework for designing, improving, and delivering online courses. 

The Online Course Development workshop is delivered in a blended or all online format, depending on the needs of the participants. Faculty will have have the opportunity to learn in synchronous and asynchronous online environments to experience online instruction from a students’ perspective, complete activities at their own pace, and explore various course tools.
