April 4, 2017 - President Olens visited with the CCSE department chairs and me, and he was very pleased with the progress that CCSE is making. He is encouraged by the your work in teaching, service, and research and was particularly supportive of our plans to focus on growing our graduate programs. He appreciates that CCSE will play a key part in achieving KSU’s strategic goal of increasing research and the quality and number of graduate students. In addition to continued excellence in teaching, President Olens encouraged us to continue to connect our students and faculty with industry in support of the USG strategic imperative for economic development and community partnerships.
There are many great things happening in CCSE, and the President was complimentary of your work. It’s only a snapshot of part of what CCSE is doing, but it reflects well on all that the faculty contribute to KSU and CCSE.
President Olens strongly supports CCSE and emphatically believes in the strength of our college. He anticipates great things from us in the upcoming years. View the CCSE Presidential Report, here.
