"Serv(ED): Risky Business...What if Downtown Athens was a Thing of the Past?" A panel of local business owners, community leaders, activists, and concerned citizens discuss the effects of rapid downtown development (a large anchor store, other retail outlets, and the logistics of such entities) as proposed by Selig Enterprises on the Armstrong-Dobbs property on the Oconee River. Hear reasons for and against the proposal, and question the panel on their concerns and visions for the future of Athens. Pizza provided.
