The BHSI now uses the web-based Microsoft Live Calendar, a feature of UGAMail, to manage room reservations in the Coverdell Building. Already know what you are doing? Go directly to the Calendar.
Login into your UGAMail/Outlook Live Account with your UGA MyID.
You should automatically be directed to your UGAMail calendar after logging in. If not, click Mail > Calendar.
2.1. Shared Calendars. The Coverdell Room Calendars can be viewed by selecting “Add Calendar,” an option found on under “Share” on the calendar toolbar.

2.2. Finding a Room and adding it to your “People’s Calendars” List. After selecting “Add Calendar” on the calendar toolbar, you will be presented with a dialog box. First select the radial button labeled “Calendar from your organization.” Type “Coverdell” into the calendar “Name” search box to bring up a listing of Coverdell Room choices. Selected the room you are interested in adding to your “People’s Calendars” and press the Enter key.

2.4. Viewing. The room calendars you selected (as above) should each be viewable as individual calendars under “People’s Calendars” in your UGAMail/Outlook Live Calendar.
Multiple rooms can be viewed by selecting or deselecting each room’s associated check box. Various calendar views (Day, Work Week, Week, Month) can also be selected from the toolbar above.

Coverdell Room reservations can be made by submitting a “Meeting Request” via your own personal UGAMail Calendar.
3.1 Initiate your Meeting Request. First select “New” > “Meeting Request” on the calendar toolbar. PLEASE NOTE: Make sure you are creating the “Meeting Request” in your own personal calendar, NOT one of the room calendars. Otherwise, permission will be denied.

3.2. Select Room. A pop-up will open allowing you to select the room or rooms you wish to reserve. (You may need to disable your pop-up blocker.) Type “Coverdell” in the “To..”. field to bring up a list of rooms. Select the room you would like to reserve.

3.3. Adding Information for a Repeating Event. Select the “Repeat…” Icon to bring up the Repetition menu.

Use the Repetition menu to set how you would like your event to repeat and click OK. Be sure to include what day the repeating event should end.

3.4. Complete Event Details. In the request’s message area, please include the title of your event, faculty or staff contact person, and any other pertinent information (e.g. – tables requested, final exam scheduling needed). Make sure the various fields in the room request form are complete and include all the necessary information (e.g. – subject, date(s), length of time for the event, whether or not it repeats). Click “Send”.

After you submit your request you will receive an email confirmation that will either confirm or decline your reservation. You will typically receive a response to your request within one hour.
A "?" question mark means your request is still pending.
An 'X' means your request is denied and a checkmark means your request has been approved and the room is reserved.
