Master of Biomanufacturing and Bioprocessing (MBB) Program Two-year program trains science and technology graduates for leadership roles in the rapidly expanding and vitally important biomanufacturing field by equipping them with the necessary science, technology and engineering skills combined with proven business and project management training.  Students choose one of three focus areas: biofuels/biochemical, industrial/environmental, and pharmaceutical.

Courses

FORS/ENGR 8020 – Bio-Based Economy Seminar – Open to graduate students from all majors.  This course seeks to acquaint students from across campus with the full array of opportunities associated with producing electric power, liquid fuels, or other products from biomass sources.  This course brings together students with different perspectives on this topic so we can explore the opportunities in this area from as many angles as possible.  Speakers will be selected from across campus and from outside companies and organizations that use biomass.  Spring semester annually.
