Biomass-derived fuels, power, and materials are growing rapidly as potential replacements for the current fossil fuels energy economy.
arrow-to-sky BSRI has as a primary mission the translation of basic and applied research on biomass conversion to viable technologies for the private sector. Several members have ongoing partnerships with energy and agricultural companies, and we are available for discussion toward new partnerships.

UGA bioenergy research is also accessible through licensing arrangements for particular technologies. The Technology Commercialization Office within the Office of the Vice President for Research works with many private companies to develop licensing agreements. A few of the technologies available are listed below and we provide a link to a specific query of the iBridge Network that is a third-party marketing database where many available UGA technologies are listed.
