Box Office Welcome
Dear Armstrong Arts Patrons:Welcome to an exciting New Year at Armstrong AMT. Our Spring semester is shaping-up to be one of great excitement and virtuosic artistry.
The Armstrong Art program reaches an important benchmark with its first-ever National Juried Two-Dimensional Art Exhibition. We open the spring with this exhibit, so make plans to visit the gallery as soon as you can. We’re thrilled to showcase the talents of nearly 30 professional artists hailing from down the street to across the country.
Speaking of showcasing talent, be sure to attend both Carolyn True’s PianoFest 2012 guest artist recital and Armstrong’s Music Ensembles Annual Showcase Concert, each in Fine Arts Auditorium during February. These are truly two “must hear” performances of the season.
And, yes, also speaking of milestones, the Masquers theatre troupe has chosen to celebrate its 75 years of Theatre at Armstrong by getting worked-up over William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing... a classic way, indeed, to commemorate our milestone year.
There’s plenty more to talk-about, so take a few minutes to peruse our calendar of events and start planning your 2012 arts diet today.
Thanks to the generous financial support of Armstrong’s Student Government Association, these and many other amazing events await you and your friends at Armstrong AMT. Browse further through our website for all upcoming events.
