We appreciate your interest in our nursing programs. It's an exciting time to be a nurse! A career in nursing provides you with a strong career foundation from which you may practice clinical nursing as a professional nurse in a variety of diverse settings, or pursue higher degree options. While professional nurses continue to work in hospitals, exciting career opportunities exist both in the home and community settings. Today, professional nurses are working in such settings as community-based neighborhood clinics, corporate and industry-based wellness and employee health programs, child and senior day care centers, home health, hospice care, school and college nursing, family practice centers, homeless shelters, rehabilitation and long-term care centers, parish nursing, and free-standing urgent care centers.

Nurses may also choose to advance their education to the master's or doctoral levels, and be prepared as nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, nurse midwives, nurse anesthetists and health care administrators. Additional career options include becoming a nurse educator, nurse researcher, nurse consultant or nurse entrepreneur. Your nursing career provides you with many options that include diverse settings, practice challenges, specialization, and full-time or part-time work schedules.

Prepare for the future now. Our nursing education focuses on discovery learning, faculty who are expert teachers and clinicians committed to student mentoring, and part-time or full-time programs of study designed to meet individual student needs. Become tomorrow's professional nurse, or join the ranks of advanced nursing practice by enrolling in a program designed to meet your needs.
