Black Alumni Society

Since chartering February 5, 2000, the Black Alumni Society (BAS) works to inform, involve and serve alumni as it promotes Kennesaw State University.  BAS works diligently to cultivate a sense of pride, integrity, and the gift of giving by promoting and facilitating the engagement of African-American and African alumni with their alma mater.  BAS is a way to deepen your connection with the KSU Alumni Association through professional and social networking, volunteerism and, mentoring.

BAS supports the Wilkes/Burnett Black Alumni Society Scholarship, a scholarship awarded for academic merit each fall semester to an undergraduate student interested in the sciences or pre-medicine studies.  BAS has succeeded in endowing the scholarship to ensure deserving students are afforded a Kennesaw State education in perpetuity.

Get Involved
