Fashion Merchandising prepares students for the apparel and textile industries. The Product Development and Design emphasis adds a production and sourcing component to the major. Furnishings and Interiors focuses on residential interior design. Projects link students with industry partners in solving residential design problems.Take courses i space planning, presentation methods, CAD, kitchen and bath, innovative residential design and much more. This program is accredited by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). More information on careers.
Masters programs include: merchandising, international trade, historic/cultural aspects of dress, polymer, fiber and textile science, and sustainable Interior environments. Ph.D. programs are offered in Polymer, Fiber and Textile Sciences and International Merchandising.
