children The Child Development Lab at the McPhaul Center provides developmentally appropriate programs on a full-day basis for children ages 8 weeks to 5 years of both University and community families. The main purposes of the Child Development Lab are:

To provide educational opportunities for University students through observation and interaction with young children and their families
To foster research and professional inquiry that makes significant contributions to the field of early childhood education and child development
To provice quality, developmentally appropriate programming for young children, which includes fostering their sense of belonging and membership, nuturing positive social relationships and friendships, and facilitating their learning to reach their full potential.
