For: FACS Employees · Other Extension EmployeesWhen you support the Right Bite Diabetes Cooking School, participants with diabetes improve their food selection and preparation skills to reduce their intake of calories, fat, sugar and salt. This leads to more participants being able to control their weight, blood pressure and blood glucose thus reducing risk for diabetic complications. Fewer complications will reduce medical costs and enhance productivity of these individuals on the job and at home.
