In addition to the information in this website, county agents and specialists throughout the state are available to help you and answer your questions, available by email or at 1-800-ASK-UGA1.
Employees OnlyExtension outreach and education in home food preservation can lower associated costs with health care and insurance by minimizing the risk of foodborne illness, strengthen the local economy by assisting citizens in using locally produced foods, enhance food quality and emergency food supplies, and improve confidence in the safety of our food supply.
