Student Life
Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Students in FACS have available to them a Novell account on Hestia.
Your Novell account gives you 1 Gigabtye on your personal M: drive, as well as a department-shared P: drive, and a Temporary drive T:. This allows you to keep backups of your important data on our network server, which is backed up daily. Please be aware that personal photos, movies, and music files are not considered work related data and should not be kept on the servers.

Faculty and staff located in the Hoke Smith Annex have a file server, Extension, mapped as the Q: drive, for storing and sharing files.
Furnishing and Interiors faculty and students located in Barrow Hall have a file server, CAD, mapped as V:, for storage of projects and class work.
Away from your office and need to access your files on your Hestia M: drive, your CAD V: drive, or Extension Q: drive? Simply point your web browser to http://www.fcs.uga.edu/netstorage and login with your FACS Novell NDS username and password.

For Windows XP users, we also offer access to a file synchronization system that lets you work on documents in your office, save them to your iFolder, and resume working on the same document from your home. Point your browser to http://www.fcs.uga.edu/ifolder to download the Windows iFolder client software. You have 10Gigs of space available in your iFolder. You can access iFolder via the Web from the Netstorage page at http://www.fcs.uga.edu/netstorage.
