Wimba Session - Another Wimba budget session was held on Friday, 4/6/12. This session addressed the budget and several other topics. If you would like to listen to the archive of this Wimba session with Dean Angle, please go to the following website.
The Budget – I will schedule a Wimba Budget Meeting soon to discuss the outcome of our budget request. Overall, this is shaping up to be a good year after three years of continual decline in funding.
CAGT – I am pleased to appoint Dr. Scott Jackson as the director of the Center for Applied Genetic Technologies. This appointment is effective May 1, 2012. Please help me welcome Scott into this new role.

May 9, 2012 — In April, CAES faculty published or updated seven publications on topics ranging from equine conformation and performance classes to identifying stinging and biting pests and determining soil lime requirement. These publications are listed below:

Together, those visitors spent an average of a minute and half on the site and viewed nearly 130,000 publication pages during April.
