| State Botanical Garden of Georgia - Head House Renovation |
Auxiliary Services The Head House at the west-end horticulture complex was built in the mid 1980s as a workshop to prepare plantings for the Garden. The west-end complex has expanded over the years with several greenhouses and other supporting structures. The Center for Native Plant Studies is now housed in the complex. It is their desire to expand the program of the area to include classrooms and a more publicly accessible group of facilities. A grounds master plan has been prepared for the area, and coupled with the renovation of the Head House and classroom, the area will serve as a gathering place to teach and learn about Georgia’s native plants and how to care for them. | Proposed | Active |
