Institute for Cybersecurity Workforce Development

The Institute for Cybersecurity Workforce Development (ICWD) at Kennesaw State University will strive to become a leader in cybersecurity workforce development through innovative curriculum, applied research, industry partnerships, and technology/knowledge transfer in the domain of cybersecurity by identifying and leveraging opportunities that intersect business, computing, engineering, and social sciences. Ultimately, the Institute will contribute to the development of Georgia as a global leader in the practice of cybersecurity.

The mission of KSU’s Institute for Cybersecurity Workforce Development is to foster inter-disciplinary collaboration in cybersecurity workforce development across the University to develop and deliver educational opportunities, academic discovery, commercialization opportunities, and help the State of Georgia support public and private sector workforce demands through high-quality offering of certificates, degree programs, and ongoing education for managers and high-level executives.
