New Student Admissions Requirements

Get a jump start on your college education or continue your studies by attending Kennesaw State during the summer semester.

    • 2.5 GPA as recalculated by KSU in 17 units of college preparatory high school coursework

    • 950 SAT (Critical Reading and Math scores combined)
      • SAT Critical Reading score of 490
      • SAT Math score of 460
    • ACT Composite score of 20
      • ACT English subscore of 20
      • ACT Math subscore of 19
    • 2.0 GPA on all college coursework attempted

    • 30 semester or 50 quarter hours of transferable credit
      You can view a comprehensive database containing the Kennesaw State University course equivalencies for colleges and universities nationwide through our transfer website at transfer.kennesaw.edu.
    • Submit your application and $40 application fee online by April 3, 2015.

    • Submit an official copy of your high school transcript electronically or in a sealed envelope (if applicable).

    • Submit official SAT or ACT scores electronically from the testing agency (if applicable).

    • Submit official transcripts from all colleges, universities or schools attended (if applicable).

    • Check your application status online using your KSU# sent to the email address listed on your application at kennesaw.edu/admissionscheck; please allow ample time for receipt and processing.
