  • RSOs may print 3 paper, color banners per semester (Fall is July-December, Spring is January-June) as long as they are in good standing with the Department of Student Activities. Additional banners per semester may be printed for an additional cost. Directions for creating banners can be found here. Request a banner to be printed at Marietta. Request a banner to be printed at Kennesaw. Whoever submits the banner printing request form will be notified when the banner is ready to be picked up. Any organization member may pick up the banner from the requested campus's SOS Office. Be mindful of the posting policies listed on the Student Life website.
  • Another RSO privilege includes the ability for RSOs to make 50 black & white one-sided copies or 25 double-sided per business day. The copies must be organization related, not for personal gain. Examples include fliers, agendas, meeting minutes, the RSO constitution, etc. Bring 1 physical copy to either SOS Office for copies to be made. Paper cutters and other cutting tools are available.
  • First, reserve the space on campus for the event at which you wish to track attendance at least 1 week in advance and receive the reservation confirmation. Then make an event announcement from your organization's page in Owl Life at least 3 business days prior to the event. Request a card reader to be picked up at the campus at which the event will take place ( Kennesaw card reader request form & Marietta card reader request form). After receiving confirmation that your organization secured a card reader, pick up the card reader the day of the event and return the next day. Directions on how to use the card readers are in each box.
  • Every RSO has an on campus mailbox that is located in the SOS office of either the Marietta or Kennesaw campus. RSOs indicate which campus they wish their mailbox to be located in during re-registration or the new RSO process. When using the on campus mailbox address for RSO correspondence, RSOs should use the address for that specific campus. Note: do not list "Kennesaw State University" before the RSO name as there is typically a character limit for address lines.
