Short Term Temporary Parking for Contractors at KSU:
Contractors that are here for four days or less will need to park in one of the visitor parking lots located on campus (Welcome Center, V2, P2, and P60 visitor). The sponsor department can purchase e-coupon vouchers to validate the contractor's temporary parking. If the contractor will be performing work for longer than the four day period they will need to fill out the Non-Paid Affiliate or Long-Term Visitor Form below.
Long-term Parking for Contractor at KSU:
The KSU Department of Parking requires all contractors working on campus for more than four consecutive days to become long-term contractors and sign-up for paid contractor parking.
Please Note: All long term visitors needing un-escorted off-hours access to buildings on campus are required to undergo a background check by KSU Human Resource Department.
The responsible Project Manager must sponsor each contractor via the Non-Paid Affiliate or Long-Term Visitor Form below for Long Term Visitors (LTV). Read the Non-Paid Affiliate or Long-Term Visitor Form and Instructions and follow the steps to register your contractor vehicle. It is preferable to submit this request at least three business days in advance of the job start date in order to allow time for processing.
Contractors may pay each month, or for the duration of the project on campus, unless it exceeds one year. Once this LTV form is filled out and the appropriate vehicle information is obtained, Project Managers will need to scan the completed form to the Ricoh scan folder “#LTV”. After the form is filled out and the payment is received and confirmed, hangtags may be picked up at Card Services, 2nd floor of the Student Center.
The fee for paid contractor parking is $23.00 per month, per vehicle. Economy parking is available to long-term visitors in a limited capacity for $10.00 per month, per vehicle. Before qualifying for long-term contractor status*, a list of all work vehicles that require a permit must be sent to the responsible Project Manager along with driver name, vehicle make, model, color, year, and license plate number.
The following methods are available for paying your parking deduction as a long-term visitor:
