Course Description

Commercial Leasing Seminar. Prerequisites: Law 5050, 5051, Law 7435. In-depth coverage of selected issues related to the negotiation and drafting of long term office and retail leases. Among the topics to be explored are the rent obligation and method of calculating the rent, use clauses, financing issues, subordination, non-disturbance and attornment agreements, and defaults and remedies.
