Volunteer Day

Saturday, April 13, 2013, 9 am - 4 pm
Location: Atwood Community Gardens

Atwood Community Gardens
779 Atwood St. S.W.
Atlanta, GA 30310

Join PILA, BLSA, ELS, FLS, CAS, JRCLS, and AALSA for a volunteer project at Atwood Community Gardens! Atwood is an urban farm and garden that introduces at-risk youth to career pathways in science, technology, engineering and math (S.T.E.M.), business management, investigative research and discovery, community service, environmental stewardship, and social entrepreneurship. As volunteers, we will be completing regular maintenance tasks, including gardening, painting, organizing classrooms, picking up trash, raking leaves, planting flowers, etc.

Please email Lindsay Anglin at langlin1@student.gsu.edu to RSVP. Take a break from studying to spend a nice spring morning outdoors helping others! We look forward to seeing you there!
