SELS presents: The Art of Contract Negotiations in the NFL

Come join SELS for an exciting event featuring Nick Polk, Pat Dye Jr., and Kevin McGuire.

Nick Polk begins his fourth season as the club's Director of Football Administration and eighth year overall with the team. From 2004-07, Polk served as the team's Director of Football Operations. Polk is the Director of Football Administration for the Atlanta Falcons. Polk works closely with General Manager Thomas Dimitroff on all contract proposals, negotiations and salary cap management. Polk also helps coordinate the Falcons compliance with the NFL's Collective Bargaining Agreement and labor related issues.

Kevin McGuire earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Florida. Shortly after graduating, he became a marketing executive for one of the world's largest companies, Anheuser-Busch. As ProFiles' Director of Marketing, Kevin McGuire brings his clients local, regional, and national endorsements; radio and television shows; shoe and apparel contracts; trading card and licensing agreements; football camps; paid personal appearances; and complimentary use of vehicles, cell phones and other consumer products. During his time at ProFiles, he has negotiated well over $5 million dollars in marketing and endorsement opportunities for their clients.

Pat Dye Jr., the President of ProFiles Sports Inc, graduated from law school among the top five students in his class, Pat combined a lifelong background in football with his legal training and was instantly successful as a sports attorney. He has negotiated more than a billion dollars in NFL contracts, a total that grows daily. He has impacted the career of numerous star players, many of whom were first round NFL draft choices. The landmark results he has achieved for his clients have been chronicled by Sports Illustrated, ESPN, Fox Sports, NFL Network, USA Today, The Sporting News, Pro Football Weekly, numerous other publications and newspapers in every NFL city.
