ACS presents: Georgia's Election Laws in 2012: The Changing Landscape

Please join the American Constitution Society's Georgia Lawyer Chapter and Student Chapter at Georgia State University College of Law on April 3, 2012 for a lunchtime panel discussion on new voter rights legislation in Georgia. Experts in government, private practice and the public interest sector will address new voter identification and registration laws, as well as share a bi-partisan perspective on the recent redistricting. Featured panelists include:

Nancy Abudu - Senior Staff Counsel at the ACLU Voting Rights Project

Senator Charlie Bethel - Republican, District 54; Chairman of the Senate Reapportionment and Redistricting Committee

Senator Vincent Fort - Democrat, District 39; Member of the Senate Reapportionment and Redistricting Committee

Professor Michael Kang - Associate Dean of Faculty and Professor of Law at Emory University

Anne W. Lewis - Partner in the Atlanta law firm of Strickland Brockington Lewis, LLP and General Counsel of the Georgia Republican Party
