Kelly Cahill Timmons

Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Associate Professor of Law

Kelly Cahill Timmons graduated first in her class from the Vanderbilt University School of Law, where she served as Notes Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review and received a full scholarship as a John W. Wade Scholar. Following law school, Professor Timmons clerked for the Honorable David A. Nelson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She then practiced employment law with the law firm of Frost & Jacobs (now Frost Brown Todd) in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Since joining the faculty of the Georgia State University College of Law, Professor Timmons has taught Torts, Constitutional Tort Litigation, and Employment Law. Her scholarly interests lie in the area of employment discrimination, and she has published articles in the Florida Law Review, the Nebraska Law Review, the South Carolina Law Review, and the University of Pittsburgh Law Review. She chairs the College's Federal Clerkship Committee and is on the Executive Committee of the Bleckley Inn of Court.
