Christopher (Chip) Hill

Assistant Dean for Administration and Finance

Chip Hill joined the Georgia State University College of Law as Assistant Dean for Administration & Finance during the summer of 2011. He spent the previous 13 years working for the University in multiple roles in the Office of Budget & Planning, including 7 years as Director.  In this capacity, he oversaw the development and management of various University budgets exceeding $550 million annually. Chip was part of the leadership team that managed the reimplementation of the University's financial system from PeopleSoft 7.5 to 8.9, and has served on a variety of University-wide committees.  He was a member of the inaugural cohort of participants in the Executive Leadership Institute that was sponsored by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia.

Prior to working at Georgia State, Chip worked for the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, and for a defense contractor in Atlanta.  He holds a B.S. in Business with a minor in Communication from Wake Forest University.  Chip has also completed a pair of graduate degrees from Georgia State, including a Master of Business Administration as well as a Master of Arts in Political Science with a specialization in American Politics.
