As a unit of the University System of Georgia, Kennesaw State University is required to adhere to the Board of Regents Guidelines regarding immunizations for school entrance.
Thirty (30) days prior to registering for classes or attending a Kennesaw State University Orientation session, each student must provide proof of immunity for the required immunizations. Upon admittance to Kennesaw State University, a HOLD will be placed on the student’s account preventing registration. The HOLD will be removed once the required documentation has been satisfied.
Acceptable forms showing proof of immunity include the KSU Immunization Form (signed by the student’s health care provider), or an official document from a clinic or county health department. If a student is unable to locate his/her immunization records but is certain of being immunized, a blood test (titer) showing the student’s immunity will be accepted. The document can be hand-delivered, mailed, or emailed to the KSU Immunization Department located in the Registrar’s Office within Kennesaw Hall on the Kennesaw campus and Enrollment Services within Building B on the Marietta Campus.
