Scholarships and Financial Aid
A generous scholarship program provides financial assistance to talented music students based on performance ability and academic standing. The Schwob School's primary concern is the education of promising musicians regardless of their financial circumstances.
Undergraduate scholarships range from small awards to full tuition, plus housing and food allowances. There is no separate scholarship application for music scholarships (with the exception of the Woodruff Award, see below)--students are eligible if they are accepted to CSU and play a successful audition by our last official audition date.
The Woodruff Awards provide full tuition/fees, lodging, meals, and a $5,000 annual stipend to extraordinary undergraduate music majors. For more information, please visit the Woodruff Award information page.
Out-of-state tuition waivers are available for qualified students.
Graduate assistantships are also awarded to qualified students.
